Don Brownrigg has been with Halifax Pride since 2015, guiding festival operations and bringing major events to life. Over his career, he has held leadership roles with the National Arts Centre, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Halifax Jazz Festival, Atlantic International Film Festival, and Halifax Fringe Festival. A multi-award-nominated touring musician and theatre maker, Don leads with a collaborative approach rooted in community values, combining strategic thinking with creative vision to produce events that are ambitious, inclusive, and deeply connected to the people they serve. He is committed to examining his own privilege and continually learning how to lead with greater awareness and accountability.
