Justin was born in K'emk'emeláy̓ (Vancouver) and has been living in Kjipuktuk (Halifax) since 2013. Justin is passionate about community-building and fostering inclusion, and believes deeply in the ability of Pride to be a force for equity. Outside of Halifax Pride, Justin is an accomplished management professional with extensive experience in scaling organizations, strategic planning, team leadership, and operations management. He has held key senior roles at Student Housing Nova Scotia, CANImmunize and TELUS Health, supporting diverse portfolios including human resources, risk management, legal and privacy, operations and program management, and financial planning and analysis. Justin is known for his resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and ability to drive organizational success. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University and is in pursuit of his CPA designation.
